Is anyone else having trouble putting up avatars? There's just no place for me, no button or words that say "so you want to put an avatar, click here, babe." I wrote the the admin and I'm getting no answer and I'm wondering if anyone is having this problem and if there's a simple solution.

Also, when I first registered to the site, I got an email saying I was registered and it had my username and password in it, and I should expect another email when my "account was activated." I never got another email. Why does my account need to be "activated" if I am already "registered," and might this have something to do with me not being able to put up a 100x100 pixel photo of my cat saying something naughty under my username that everyone will have to look at every single time I post?

And I know you all want me to be able to do that, because this is America, and my being allowed to post my cat is what ensures that you can post that Photoshopped image of you making out with a character from Twilight.

And the reason I post so much is because I am an insomniac. And a ham.

Try going to User Control Panel (up at top right)
Under Options (left side box) click on Profile
At left box, click Edit Avatar
Click Browse to find a pic in your files

It is unfortunate, however, that with all my graphic design knowledge, I have concluded it is impossible to make a picture of those dimensions under the storage limit.
