Infinite Summer

The first time I came across 304, like everyone else, it was like an endnote to an endnote, and with all that flipping back and forth, it sort of feels like "a choose your own adventure," except without the choice. Who says a book needs to be consumed in a linear fashion? Not DFW.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but that fact he points you to 304 twice relatively close to each other, it is like him asking, "did you really read it the first time? DO IT!"

I did it: I read 304 after resisting and I'm here to say 304 is worth it. 304 is now one of favorite bits of the book. I got pissed off when I first saw it. Then, a few days later on a long drive, I thought to read it out loud to the driver and myself. ...Was anyone else moved by this? Something that started off as a joke became really beautiful and poignant.
