I recently purchased the audiobook of "Consider the Lobster" (new) from an outlet bookstore in Arizona for about $3.99.
A major draw for me is it's read by DFW. I'm not certain, but I think this might be the only one of his audiobooks read by the man "Himself".
I recommend it highly. Be warned that the essay "Big Red Son" does concern the adult film industry and is quite explicit. I was especially pleased with "The View from Mrs. Thompson's", pertaining to 9/11, and "How Tracy Austin Broke My Heart," about the former tennis prodigy.
(also: The CtL audiobook doesn't have the complete content of the book.)
