On pg 507 Steeply and Marathe are continuing to discuss all things Samizdat and at one point Perseus, Hercules, Pollux and Castor are listed as constellations above their heads. Hercules has a square head. Perseus is amputated at the knees. Castor has a feminine bend to his leg. Burns writes in his reader's guide that these symbols should draw our attention to Gately (Hercules), The AFR or Marathe specifically (Perseus), but makes no real speculations about Pollux and Castor. What do people know about Greek Myths? Are there any particularly interesting stories that come to mind?

Or could the feminine bend in Castor's leg (508) be a reference to fraternal twins comprised of a man and woman born of different fathers to the same woman?
