YES! noble tree indeed. unfortunately though, we don't serve beer. but that being said, if somewhere down the line we'd rather go for coffee (and pie - mmm) instead of beer (hah - what?), i can definitely get the top floor closed down or something for all of us.

Hello Chicago IJ people. I am excited to talk to real people about this book. All of my friends and family think I am nuts for tackling this book but I don't care. I am loving it. So, 7 PM July 15 at Green Eye? I'm in!!

I, um, I have already made plans to see the new Harry Potter movie on the 15th. Don't judge!

I think getting the top floor of the Noble Tree some time sounds amazing, though, and lindseydanger is a hero for suggesting it! Do we want to commit to Wednesdays? Maybe, like, July 29th? Just a suggestion, I'm open!

haha - i'm definitely not a hero. i just work there, and i know we've got some quality coffee.

as far as the 15th goes, it almost looks like it might not exactly be the best day for people - what with bingo at the hideout, and (no judgement) the harry potter movie. are those of us that CAN make it still planning on meeting? or would it be better to find a different day that may work a little better?

The bingo was a temptation, I'd rather do this.

I wanted to do it on the 15th since my friend who is also doing Infsum is going to be here from SF.

Who else is in? I'm curious?

It doesn't look like anyone has posted this yet, but there's a meet up tonight at Third Coast on Dearborn at 7:30.
