| Post subject: | Infinite Jest and The Wire |
I finished IJ in the same week that I finished watching The Wire. So I've put up a post comparing the two. There are a couple of similar themes, like NA and addiction; the structure has similarities; and I think the sincerity Matthew Baldwin discussed this week on the blog is present in The Wire too, despite all the violence: I would love to get your comments. Are my comparisons forced? |
