Post subject:  Toronto?

I'm living in Toronto for the summer and reading IJ along with the project. I think I'm going to have a tough time keeping up if I don't find people to chat with about the book - any fellow IS'ers in Toronto?

Well I'm in Hamilton, but it's only a 50-minute bus ride away, so I'd probably be willing to come out if a few people are getting together.

I'm actually working in Hamilton every day, so if more people are there I'd be game.

I'm in Toronto! (Etobicoke, rather, so somewhat closer to Hamilton than if I lived downtown.)

I live in Mississauga and work weekends in Toronto. However, I am not reading IJ this summer.

I have read it before -- and many sections many times -- and it is my favourite book. I'm going to do my own read once baseball season is done.

I'm in Hamilton, so I'd be happy for a meetup either city (depending on my schedule).

I'm in Ottawa. I only rarely get to Toronto. Fixing the garbage collection strike and the VIA Rail strike would increase my willingness to travel!

I just moved to Toronto, and have been using IJ as my escape from the stress and anxiety of packing, changing jobs, getting schools for kids, unpacking, etc. Would love to get together.

So are we doing this? I'll suggest we do it one of the next two weekends because maybe if we can pick a date we can start to organize something.

Alas, I've dropped out. IJ is sitting gathering dust on my bookshelf, having been relegated there during a particularly trying footnote.

I saw someone on the bus the other day reading IJ, though - there are people out there!
