Maybe there was some sort of flaw or instability, I dunno, built into the very nature of the spine...Gosh, I wish there was a more elegant phrase to describer this sort of thing.... |

Got my copy (preordered from Amazon) yesterday and didn't notice any, um, scoliosis. I'll have a closer look when I get home tonight. |

the spine was put on upside down, so that it says "Penguin Books" at the top instead of the bottom, inverted. I've taken to reading it with the dust jacket on upside-down to. I enjoy the looks I get. |

Something I noticed on the jacket cover, kind of an interesting coincidence: on the back of the converted-hearse is written "Endless Summer." Just a dumb little observation. |
