Since I'm a re-reader of IJ (at about page 850, running a bit behind pace on this particular read as I write this), there have been, as you'd expect, a bunch of moments on the forum when I've wanted to say something on one of the spoiler line threads -- agreeing with, disagreeing with, or expanding on some point or another, but held back because my comment depended on stuff past the spoiler line. Now that we are closing in on the end, I thought it might be interesting to create a thread for anyone who is dying to re-direct our attention to an old comment or thread in light of what they've read (or re-read) since that topic was bubbling and active. Of, course, resurrecting a dormant thread is easy enough, and I suppose a new finisher could go on a binge on the non-spoiler-protected threads. But it might be interesting to see, in one place, what first time readers are re-considering from early on or what re-readers have been dying to say since they read something way back when, as a way to keep the discussion communal rather than isolated.

So, anybody suddenly having new insights into Eschaton or Randy Lenz's spree or Hal or Pemulis or Marathe or (etc.) now that they are nearing the end? Anyone been holding their tongue on some thread or another until the group had made it to Gately's hospitalization or Hal's attempt to kick or Pemulis' destruction or (etc.)? Any threads you are dying for people to re-examine based on where the spoiler line is now?

This may have been mentioned before. I was rereading endnote 304, at the point in the novel it is really endnote 304 not a subnote of endnote 39, and was surprised to read that the article about the "Wheelchair Assassins" Struck is reading, and plans to plagiarize, was written by G.T. Day. Heaven knows what all I've missed!
