Please abide by the Infincratic Oath in this forum: First, post no spoilers. That means not referencing anything that happens after the page number state in this forum's description, and in the forum rules that display when you post a new topic. This includes confirming speculation. If, for instance, someone says "I think Hal will ride in a hot-air balloon later", and you (having read ahead, or read the entire book before) know this to be true or false, we ask that you keep it to yourself. If you wish to discuss the novel in its entirety, you may do so in , where there are no spoiler restrictions. If you wish to post something to his forum, but have any doubt as to whether it constitutes a spoiler, use the spoiler tags: There is a button for the spoiler tags in the formatting toolbar for each new post. If you come across something in the Daily Discussion thread that you believe to be a spoiler, please report it using the [!] button in the lower right-hand corner of the post in question. Thank you, Matthew |

I've been reading since the beginning of the Daily Discussion and I haven't seen anyone doing this. Maybe you could temper your remarks by also saying how you think people are doing on the forum in general. I think they are doing wonderfully. |

Thanks for this. I have noticed casual mentions of stuff that happens past the spoiler line, and it made me wary of the Daily Discussion forum. I appreciate that there's a system in place for dealing with this when it happens. |

Not about spoilers but I wasn't sure where else to put this because I fear leaving the daily discussion forum for fear of spoilers. Anyway, Mr. Matthew Baldwin, site administrator, what say you to the idea of official infintie summer t-shirts? I don't know anyone in the t-shirt/silkscreening industry but i would be more than willing to pony up 15-20 dollars to get one shipped to me via the internet. Probably just openned a can of worms but I'm petty enought that personal improvement of just reading this book over the summer is not enough of a reward I need something more material. Who's with me? |

Man. I really don't have the cash for that kind of thing, but I'd probably end up getting one anyway. I've fallen utterly in love with DFW's writing, and nothing expresses love in a geekier way than a shirt. Could it have packs of feral hamsters or giant feral infants on it? Anything at all that's feral? |

I'm in. Come September, this achievement should be celebrated. Plus, imagine someday running into a fellow IS'er in your travels, recognizable by their distinct apparel. |

I would definitely buy an IS t-shirt! I actually got one of those the Enfield Tennis Academy shirts from the Neighborhoodies website, too... After I ordered it, I realized I SHOULD have gotten it with the ETA school colors, red and gray, to be a true nerd. |

Just wanted to mention that adding in a spoiler tag might unintentionally turn something INTO a spoiler. I noticed one of my posts in which I asked a question and speculated on something was edited to have a spoiler tag, which effectively answered the question for me and unintentionally spoiled it for me on the spot. |
