I'd like to do a post on my blog with the best individual posts from around the blogosphere or, if you like, from the IS Guides or Guests. Please post your nominations here! Off the top of my head, and not including any of the IS G/G posts, here are some of my faves: : All nominations considered! This is not a competition, though, there'll be no ranking of posts. |

I especially liked Infinite Detox's "A Field Guide to Occurrences of Bernini’s Ecstasy of St. Teresa in Infinite Jest" http://infinitedetox.wordpress.com/2009 ... nite-jest/ I feel like it's a feature of the novel that is easily overlooked and yet sums it all up so nicely. // Jason |

My immediate reaction was Infinite Detox on the technological proposals - it was just so perfect in terms of keeping the sense of IJ and spinning it further. But your list prompted me to go back and read or re-read each of them and I really also love Daryl's post on Avery. It is a great summing up to me of the experience of IS and reading IJ in the sense of how much this book can come to mean to you as an individual. It's nearly a tie for me with these two, but I think in the end I would vote for Daryl's. In terms of the added suggestion of the St. Teresa post - I appreciated it and it was a great look at something easily overlooked which would recommend it right there, but I have a personal bias against Bernini so I just can't go for it!
