KCRW is the Los Angeles affiliate of NPR, and one of its highest-quality stations. It has an archive of DFW-related material (here: http://www.kcrw.com/etc/david-foster-wallace) and an interview with DFW in 1996 talking (almost) about Infinite Jest (here: http://www.kcrw.com/media-player/mediaPlayer2.html?type=audio&id=bw960411david_foster_wallace). The only spoilers are mostly thematic in nature at their most egregious, so you can probably listen no matter where you are in the book.

One particular subject of interest to the Infinite Summer crowd is DFW's discussion of the structure of the book, in a very literal sense. Apparently, Infinite Jest is loosely structured like a Sierpinski Gasket (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sierpinski_triangle), which already makes a lot of sense to me, even though I'm only around 28% through.

Enjoy.
