Does there exist somewhere a description of the major plot points of Hal, Gately, et al, in a temporal order? Spoiler-filled, natch. It seems like all of us on here are trying to keep everything straight, and while I have absolutely no objections to that, I would love some sort of thing where I can confirm the order of certain plot points without flipping around an 1100-page text. |

In my book Elegant Complexity, there is a Chronology section in the back where I rearrange each section of the novel into a more-or-less temporal order. There are also partial chronologies for Gately, Joelle, and the events of November YDAU. |

And Stephen Burn has a chronology of events of the novel in his guide, too. My chronology is more of a timeline that allows you to orient yourself section by section. |

Found this a while back. It doesn't tell how to order the chapters, but I think it's interesting. http://levingar.com/a-timeline-for-infinite-jest/ |

As long as you remember that everything links up eventually, don't worry too much about time. |
