Infinite Summer

Has anyone else noticed that April, specifically April 1 is a major event date? 3 possibly 4 major events happen on 4/1.

1. Hal and Himself's conversation takes places on 4/1 YTMP
2. Himself eliminates his map on 4/1 YTSDB aka one year later
3. Medical attache watches the entertainment on 4/1 YDAU - the package it arrives in says Happy Anniversary


and Hal's eating the mold episode, at least in his telling of it in the opening chapter on pg 10, takes place in "March or early April"

and of course we have one character named Avril or 1 April if you will


Don't know how significant this is after all 4-1 is April Fool's Day and this is a book with Jest in the title.

Also, Hal's mother's name is Avril, which is the French (and presumably Quebecois) for April.
