p. 120 " A la contraire. I let it ride around inside all day if I have to. I make an iron rule: nothing escapes my bottom during play. Not a toot or a whistle. If I play hunched over I play hunched over. I take discomfort in the name of dignified caution, and when it's especially bad I look up at the sky between points and I say to the sky Thank You Sir may I have another. Thank You Sir may I have another."

That whole section just made me laugh.

In footnote #269 the guy from Saprogenic Greetings (lolololol) tell how he and Orin accidentally kill Avril's dog S. Johnson. This makes me a bad person, but there you have it. How can a scene about two impaired teenagers dragging a dog behind the family volvo by its leash be so ridiculously funny?

p. 806 - The section where Hal is stuck in the Inner Infant meeting. "Hal now starts scrolling through an alphabetical list of faraway places he'd rather be right now. He's not even up to Addis Ababa when Kevin Bain acquiesces and begins very softly and hesitantly Jim, who's put aside his yogurt but not the bear, to please come up and love him and hold him."

Just the picture of Hal in this terribly uncomfortable situation thinking of whatever faraway places come before Addis Ababa makes me laugh.

Addis Ababa, according to Wikipedia, is the largest city in Egypt and perhaps the location where man originated from.
